Epson's wide range of Real Time Clock Modules (RTC) with built-in XTAL save power, provide superior accuracy, and simplify system design. Thanks to a rich set of optional functions, such as alarms and time stamps, RTC's can cover multiple additional tasks beside the time keeping.
New in our product-range is the RX 8804CE. Designed for precision time keeping, the RX8804CE uses Digitally Temperature-Compensated Crystal Oscillator (DTCXO) technology to achieve ±3.4 or ±8ppm accuracy over temperature of -40 to +85°C or -40 to +105°C respectively, equivalent to 9 or 20 seconds per month.
This high accuracy is essential for precise time keeping, as required by eMeters and other industrial or outdoor applications.
The RX8804CE with a supply voltage of 1.6V to 5.5V is low power 0.35μA (typ.) backup current, has a clock output of 1Hz, 1024Hz, or 32.768kHz and is offered in a small package (3.2x2.5x1.0mm)
