New in our portfolio, class Y2 PME271YA capacitors by KEMET. The internal structure of the capacitors consists of multiple layers of metallized paper, encapsulated and impregnated with self-extinguishing material to meet UL 94 V-0. The MP capacitors from KEMET are well-suited for use anywhere in the world to suppress electromagnetic interference in all Y2 applications.
The capacitance values of the PME271Y series range from 1nF to 100nF, while the PME271YA-E series offers 4.7nF and 6.8nF; tolerance is ±20%. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +110°C for the PME271Y series and for the PME271YA-E series as high as +115°C.
The capacitors impregnated dielectric ensures ionization resistance together with outstanding stability and reliability characteristics, especially for always-on applications. At the same time, excellent self-healing properties ensure a long life even when subjected to frequent over-voltages. All models are ENEC, UL, cUL and CQC certified.
