Meeting Electromobility

In response to growing demand in EV sector, ZETTLER electronics has introduced a new range to meet the needs of electric vehicles and their charging infrastructure. The single-pole relays in Zettler’s AZEV116, AZEV132 and AZEV140 series feature a special monitoring-contact that can signal welding of the load contact in case of a fault. This is a specific requirement in accordance with IEC 62752 for charging cables (IC-CPD) for electric vehicles. These new relay series are designed for electromobility and in addition to complying with the high short-circuit requirements of IEC 62752 and also meet the specifications of IEC 62955 for use in charging mode 3 wall-boxes.

AZEV116: specified for current up to 20A (30K switching cycles), with switching capacity of 50K cycles at 16A.

AZEV132: specified for current up to 40A (10K switching cycles), with switching capacity of 50K cycles at 32A

AZEV140: specified for current up to 50A (6K switching cycles), with switching capacity of 50K cycles at 20A

Specifications are based up on IEC 62752 and IEC 62955
