The latest PWM circuits

Infineon’s last generation fixed frequency flyback converter ICs bring enhanced system efficiency and standby mode <100 mW allowing light-mid load systems to reduce switching loss and improve overall efficiency.

Significant component savings has been achieved through design simplification and reduction in components.

100 kHz and 125 kHz switching frequencies are available with advanced performance and protection features integrated.

Infineons wide portfolio also includes quasi-resonant flyback converter ICs, offering enhanced system robustness with the integration of innovative performance and safety features.

The novel quasi-resonant switching method minimises switching frequency spread and empowers SMPS designers to reduce components and overall system costs.

More benefits include significant protection coverage with a broad operating range of -40°C to 125°C, auto-restart recovery, and a cascade configuration for rapid start-ups.
