Schurter's ASO series solar fuses (compliant with the IEC 60269-6 and UL 2579 standards), are designed to protect photovoltaic systems.
The voltage in such systems is boosted to keep the power dissipation in long circuit paths to a minimum. The fuses ensure safe interrupt even at demanding voltage levels, whereas standard fuses are not intended for complete protection of photovoltaic systems.
At Huijzer Components we support the ASO series in both the standard as the PCB version with different rated currents from 1 to 30A. The fuses offer high breaking capacity of 20kA at rated voltage of 1000VDC and have a low minimum interrupting rating of 1.35 x IN.
Operating temperature range is from -50° to +125°C. Schurter's ASO series solar fuses are UL approved and of course RoHS compliant.
